Fastener is a devise to hold thermal insulation such as rock wool, Polystyrene and, etc upon the walls constructed by building materials. This is made of Propylene which can prevent form the occurrence of thermal bridge.
Employing this method in the international resources and also in the 19th subject of National Building Regulations is recommended.
Simultaneous installation of thermal insulation and rabitz by Fastener, apart from providing the necessary strength, will reduce the installation cost by about 70% and also increase the speed of insulation considerably.
Steps to implant rock wool insulation with fastener
1. First put the insulation on the surface.
2. To hold the insulation on the wall, drill a 9 millimeter hole with proper depth.
3. Put the fastener on the hole and hammer it and for the better strength you can hammer an appropriate nail (metal or plastic) into fastener.
Pay attention that the depth of hole is very important in case the hole is not deep enough the insulation installation will face problems.
Installation Instruction of insulation at piping
The best way for insulation of a below-16-inch pipelines is IsoPipe. When the iso pipe is produced they are adapted for the easy insulation upon pipelines by them being cut off from one side. Pipeline insulation, iso pipe, have a various range of thickness due to the design of customer base on the environment. The lengths of prefabricated insulations are either 0.5 or 1 meter. After the implantation of iso pipe as the request of customer a galvanized straps and galvanized wire will be tighten over the iso pipe. Notably, given the climate condition of Iran in the south which has a high level of moisture, aluminum sheet or Kraft Paper must be used. On the other hand, for drier climate galvanized sheet without cover is applicable.
In case of bigger pipelines, 12-inch Iso blanket insulation is used. In the time of installation Iso blanket it is cut as long as the pipe round and is implanted and after that, just like Iso blanket, a Strap is used to fasten the insulation.
